The latest milking machine systems will be featured by the world’s leading manufacturers at the Dairy Event and Livestock Show, the UK’s largest specialist event with over 450 exhibitors in total to be staged at its new venue, The NEC, Birmingham on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 September.
Over the two days, farmers will be able to weigh up the benefits of a range of milking systems on the market, from the latest rapid exit and rotary to herringbone and robotic. In the milking zone a total of 32 companies will be exhibiting including the milking machine manufacturers; ATL, Boumatic, Dairymaster, Fullwood, Greenoak, Jenisys, Lely, SAC, United Milking systems (GEA), Vaccar and Waikato who will all be on hand to offer advice on each of the different systems along with parlour design for not only cows but also goats and sheep.
“The Dairy Event and Livestock Show provides a unique opportunity for dairy farmers from throughout the UK and beyond to meet all the leading manufacturers and see all the latest developments in milking technology at just one event on one day,” comments Nick Everington, chief executive of RABDF the event’s organiser. “These technical developments provide yet another opportunity for all producers to reduce costs, improve their herd’s overall efficiency and build a sustainable business.”
