GEA Hat-Trick For RABDF/NMR Gold Cup Winners

A special dinner to celebrate that the latest and previous two years Gold Cup
Winners of the RABDF and NMR Competition all operate WestfaliaSurge® parlour systems from GEA Farm Technologies, was held on the evening prior to the highly successful and very well attended Open Day at Northground Dairy, West Chaldon Farm, Dorchester, Dorset on 2nd June 2009.
In attendance were Mark Roach from Grosvenor Farms Limited, Gold Cup Winners 2006, Ian Macalpine from Laneside Farm, Gold Cup Winners 2007, and the latest winners David, Nick and Polly Cobb of JF Cobb & Sons, who's attention to detail and team work helped their pedigree Chalclyffe herd take the coveted 2008 Gold Cup trophy.
Lyndon Edwards, chairman and Nick Everington chief executive of the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers and Jonathan Davies national field manager of NMR were also present, together with Nick Green from Highwood the Dairy Centre, as well as representatives from the Dairy Event and GEA Farm Technologies Limited, who's managing director, Paul Gerrard commented: "We were delighted to host this celebration as all three winners are highly valued customers, the common and most important link being that they all milk using our parlours and all have expressed satisfaction with our systems, some of which have been in constant operation on these prize winning farms for more than 12 years."
