National Dairy Show

Managed by RABDF and generously sponsored by Zoetis.

The National Dairy Show is a unique opportunity for farmers to see all seven main dairy breeds compete in the diary classes for the Supreme Interbreed Champion.

National Charolais Show

The National Charolais Show will take place at Livestock Event 2013 for the first time.

The BCCS Annual General Meeting, the National Charolais Show and the Charolais Young Breeders Stock Judging Competition will all take place over the two Event days.

Foot Trimming Demonstrations

Foot trimming demonstrations take place over both event days at 11:00am 12:00pm 2:00pm & 3:00pm. The foot trimming demonstration tent is located outside the Machinery Hall, Hall 16.

RABDF/IAgrm Business Debates

The Business Debates organised in conjuction with the Institute of Agricultural Management will be located in the Business Management zone. You will be able to hear about the latest developments in farm business management and get advice from influencial speakers about running your farm business for profit.

Interactive seminars on various subjects that affect your business will be running throughout both days.

Farm Health Planning Seminars

The Farm Health Planning Seminars will be located in the Animal Health zone. This feature  is designed to promote positive farm health planning in the dairy, beef, sheep, pig and poultry sectors.

The area will provide visitors with the opportunity to gather expert advice that will be of practical use on their own farms.

Interactive seminars on various subjects that affect Animal Health will be running throughout both days.

Feed Science Forums

The Feed Science Seminars will be located in the Feeds and Forage Zone. This feature is designed to promote the latest technologies in feed science in the dairy, beef, sheep, pig and poultry sectors.

The area will provide visitors with the opportunity to gather expert advice that will be of practical use on their own farms. Interactive seminars on various subjects that affect animal feed will be presented over both event days.

Mixer Wagon Demonstrations

Mixer wagon demonstrations return to the Event for 2013.

A new feature organised by RABDF and British Grassland Society. Forage Field is designed to help all livestock farmers make the most of home grown forage.

Forage Field will be located in the Feeds and Forage zone.
