Exhibiting at Livestock 2012 Incorporating Dairy Event
Livestock 2012, formerly the Dairy Event and Livestock Show, has gone from strength to strength and today it is the largest livestock trade show in the UK. It provides a captive audience for any company wishing to sell their products and services to the livestock industry.
In 2011 the show attracted 16,300 visitors, a 3% increase on the previous year. Farmers attending the had an average dairy herd totalling 190. These farmers purchase the majority of the ruminant livestock industry’s inputs, and many also have large beef, sheep and other livestock enterprises.
The move to the NEC increased farmer attendance and response to the move was extremely positive. It also gave an even greater opportunity for exhibitors to make contact with more potential customers. The move proved to be a success with 92% of exhibitors rating the NEC as excellent or good as a venue.
With 68% of exhibitors at the event taking orders and over 85% satisfied with the number and quality of enquiries they received, this is the business to business event you cannot afford to miss.
The event delivers an impressive cross section of visitors with the average farmer milking 190 cows and rearing 103 calves. Other visitors have equally good stock numbers averaging: 67 Sucklers,122 Beef and 312 Sheep.
Our visitor survey shows 95% intend to return in 2012, which means the event is one of the best opportunities for companies to meet progressive, business minded farmers. Building on the successful marketing of last years’ event, RABDF will be increasing its marketing spend to attract even more livestock farmers to add to the 16,300 visitors who already attend the show.
If you are interesting in exhibiting at the event please do not hesitate to contact the Event team who will be happy to discuss your requirements.
