Calling All Gold Cup Qualifiers Enter Now – This Could Be Your Golden Year

Qualifying herds are encouraged to enter this year’s NMR/RABDF Gold Cup. More than 450 herds ‘made the grade’ and need to send in their completed entry forms by April 13, 2012 to RABDF. Entry forms, that are straight-forward and ask for data recorded on farm. are available from RABDF on 0845 458 2711 or email [email protected]

The judges will review all entrants and select finalists who will be visited by judges in June. The winner of the 2012 Gold Cup will be announced at Livestock 2012 Incorporating Dairy Event at The NEC, Birmingham on Tuesday September 4, 2012.

The NMR Silver Salver will be awarded to the runner up in the Gold Cup competition and the Chris May Memorial Cup will be awarded to the Gold Cup entrant with the highest average Lifetime Daily Yield. The highest placed Jersey herd in the Gold Cup competition will be awarded the Lilyhill Trophy and the highest placed Ayrshire herd will be awarded the Murchland Trophy.
